HOPE IN THE PIT!

Imagine a chick falling into a pit of about 6 feet for several days,it is of no denial that it will obviously die in the pit as it's mother i.e the chicken cannot even bring it out.The chick can only come out of such pit with the help of a human who needs several help to bring the chick e.g a ladder to bring the chick out.

In life,we could be like that chick in that pit who is in the midst of several
challenges, difficulties, hopelessness, rejection, opposition from all spheres of life such that our earthly parents can do little or nothing about this. This was the case of Joseph in the bible, his earthly Father loved him so much that he made him a coat of many colours and this brought about hatred from  his other brothers and made them cast him into a pit(Gen 37;3-4 & 24).It is of no doubt that so many of us are facing several challenges as of which Joseph faced then in today's world. No wonder the suicidal rate keeps increasing year in year out as a result of lack of courage to face situations at hand.

Jesus Christ is calling you today, the bible says in (mat 11:28) come unto me,all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. There are so many things you are going through such that going forward seems impossible, backward is not an option standing at a point is  not profitable. If we read through (Gen 41;39-44), the same Joseph thrown into a pit later became the second in command to pharaoh in  the land of Egypt, all these happened through the power of Christ in him.
All you need to do is give your life to Christ, forsake your bad ways and watch how Christ brings you out of the pit into Eternal enjoyment.

Prayer point;Lord Jesus,I give my life to You today,I confess You as my personal Lord and Saviour.every pit I find myself in,bring me out to the fulfillment of Your glory. AMEN

THANKS FOR READING.

Workers in the vineyard

When I was younger, I remembered visiting a marble company, There I saw different stages of how the marble is being processed and finally done. I remembered that the several stages in the production was allocated to different people to ensure a smooth and successful completion of the marble. While I was reading through the books of Mathew 20, the phrase workers in the vineyards caught my attention and this reminded me of my introductory story. Here, we are made to see an illustration of individuals working in a vineyard to achieve a common goal and how they are  paid the same wages at the end of the day. What does this mean to us as believers? just as the bible records it in 1 Cor 12: 1-27, we are all different parts of the same body working towards the same goal of populating the kingdom of God, we should not overestimate ourselves. In Mathew 20, the bible records it that those that have been working in the vineyard since dawn and those who just joined an hour to the end of ...

FUEL IT UP!!!

When I was in primary school I was part of the girls guide. we usually go for weekend camping in any agreed location and I remember that whenever we were at camp, we always have the camp fire at night and everyone will be dancing around it. Whenever the fire goes down, we will put leaves and some other petrochemical substances to enable it burn well. Going through the books of Mathew 25, the story of the 10 virgins ignited a spark in me and I realized instantly that to keep anything burning, we need substances to fuel it up just as we did at the camp whenever the camp fire goes down. Also, most of us have generators in our various homes and I can imagine how much we would feel helpless when we cannot get fuel to power our generators especially when we have a very interesting show coming up or a football match and the electricity distribution company decided to keep the light off. Brethren, reading through Mathew 25: 1-13, we would have a better understanding of what it means to fu...

THE WORD OF LIFE

Hearing about the word of life what really rings in one's head at first? At first, one could be like which one is a word that has life. Honestly speaking it sounds somehow and one could even be thinking that so the words we speak or hear now has life, interesting! The word scripturally signifies the Father Himself ( John1:1). No wonder we have it that in the beginning was the word, the word was with God and God Himself was the word. Going further, the word of God i.e God Himself is life and that life is the light of men. This simply means that the word of God brings life to an individual who studies the word and the life brings light which shines in this world that we live in. The word of God is of no doubt an all rounder. When we study the word of God, we get to know the mind of God Himself and when this happens and getting to know this we get formed just the way the word wants us to according to His will. In the books of ( Hebrews 4;12), we were made to see the efficacy of the wo...
